Montreal is a lovely place. Hopefully I can save up and spend all my retirement on a visit to either Toronto or Vancouver. Shame the Mrs Nigh will have to miss, but it’s a modest retirement fund.

I like Canada, it's kind of a more civilised and more sane version of the USA! Quebec is the best place there by far.

My brother has lived there since the late 70s and is just about to retire. Been there a couple of times, Montreal, Quebec, Halifax. Lovely country, lovely people enjoyed my visits there ... the ONLY thing I can complain about is that its so vast you can drive for hour and hours and hours and the scenery, though nice, is utterly unchanging .... in the east at least.

Worked in a city called Kitchener/Waterloo for 6 weeks when i was younger. Stayed with a host family and travelled all around Ontario.
