Well you still aren't allowed free access to firearms in Canada. I never heard of these Freedom Convoy nutters until you just mentioned them there.

There has been a couple of stories about police raids turning up caches of arms in smaller remote villages where the local political leanings have been somewhat Trumpy. Outside the big metropolitan areas it seems a bit more right wing from the very little I've read and heard about it.

But then I can't be completely sure of the motives of those talking and writing about it.

In short, I know nothing.

I don’t know about that. The largest private collection of guns I have ever seen was at a friend’s father’s house just outside Toronto.
