What’s your take on Scotland and the people that live there?

Sweaty, urban haggis-munching neds. Who wear knock-off gear and exist on a diet of deep fried foods and tenants extra strength or.

Jaunty, single-malt swilling gamekeeper types who wander around Dundee high street in deerstalkers and plus-fours or.

Jarg jocks who live in Scotland, claim to be Scottish but in fact are from Bootle - sponging off the Scottish welfare state whilst ripping apart the English on social media.

I live in the west coast these days, I’d say it’s all of the above, less of the kilt wearers though. Think there’s more fake kilt wearers in England. The welfare state isn’t much to write home about either, I’d say the wealth gap in towns and cities is more obvious than in England.

Not sure the jocks actually have anything better than the English. Most of them are tremendously nice people, real salt of the earth, kind human beings b it the minority of arseholes ruin it just the same as in England. Like they always have done. Some jocks think they can take the moral high ground over the English but in reality there are few differences to how the 2 counties are set up. Historically the rich minority of landed gentry have screwed over the poor, unfortunately though the wool has been pulled over the eyes of the jocks and many blame the English.

Also get in bed with the French too quickly.

Only time you see a kilt is when your suit is in the dry cleaners, or weddings.
An array of accents, even from different areas of cities.
Scousers are welcome up here, other English maybe not, although females get a pass.....
They love their English teams ,but hate the English,,,bit like our rs fans.
It's a lovely unspoilt countryside tbh, some beautiful scenery.
Unfortunately, the only decent city for a shopping trip is Glasgow, not a slight on that city,Aberdeen,Dundee and Edinburgh are a shadow of there former selves.
Scottish Independence?
Should've done it quietly, like it was going, dribs and drabs of power being transferred from Westminster.
