Been lucky enough to spend a bit of time up there this year. Was at a wedding in Glasgow last week, worked in Edinburgh for a week in may and spent a week in Inverness. My wife has family in Inverness and get to go now and again, beautiful surrounding areas. Travelling all around Inverness from Tain, Dores and Chanonry point are worth the drive alone.

Macaroni cheese pie on the other hand, not so sure on that.
 

A country of two halves. The two big cities and some of the bigger towns are surrounded by utter toilets with some downright horrible people (no different to most places tbh). The rest of it is absolutely stunning. I still don't know why they filmed Bravheart in Ireland. Weirdos.
Only some of the battle scenes were filmed in Ireland, most of it was filmed in Glen Nevis at Fort William.
