Great country apart from the kingdom of fife.

Not a fan of them islands up north also.

Been lucky enough to spend a bit of time up there this year. Was at a wedding in Glasgow last week, worked in Edinburgh for a week in may and spent a week in Inverness. My wife has family in Inverness and get to go now and again, beautiful surrounding areas. Travelling all around Inverness from Tain, Dores and Chanonry point are worth the drive alone.

Macaroni cheese pie on the other hand, not so sure on that.

Driving home last night through a place called Camelon near Falkirk saw this guy walking his turkeys from his council house, I turned the corner and there's a guy walking along in the Juy heat wearing a Christmas jumper, welcome to my world.

A country of two halves. The two big cities and some of the bigger towns are surrounded by utter toilets with some downright horrible people (no different to most places tbh). The rest of it is absolutely stunning. I still don't know why they filmed Bravheart in Ireland. Weirdos.

Only some of the battle scenes were filmed in Ireland, most of it was filmed in Glen Nevis at Fort William.

Visited Scotland for the first time earlier this year, highlight of the trip was a lovely barmaid in a pub in Oban
Low point was paying £14 for 2 pints in a pub in a little village called Plockton

I stayed in Tyndrum for a couple of nights so caught the train to Oban from there, still lovely though

Hard to beat.

The West Coast/Skye/Inner Hebredies is my default Holiday if I can't think of anywhere else to go.

I got gazumped on a house up In Skye a few months back which I'm still fuming over. The search continues.
