South Africa would have been more likely to give India a decent game in the final I think. Probably by batting first and putting on a huge total.

50 over format feels kinda dead. Maybe after the Ashes with all the drama there and so much 20/20 cricket, 50 overs looks like a watered down version of both. Too many long periods of very little happening.

Think they're going back to the old format in 27. Have to agree this format is pretty dull. It's gone on for well over a month now (almost 2?). Smaller groups and a quarters or even second round would make it more interesting. That added jepordy you don't get with this format.

Also have to agree with 50 overs. It seems to me that the future is both t20 and test.
