Well England are currently ODI (for a few more days) and T20 world champions, so it’s not hurting at all. This has been the most boring World Cup since it began, absolute snooze fest.

The cheats get to the World Cup final on the same day their 'soccer' team defeat the mighty Bangladesh 7-0. What a time to be alive and live in Australia!

Genuine question mate, do you not feel any shame over Warner and Smith's cheating/throwing Bancroft under the bus? Most of my Aussie mates were fuming when this happened, a couple agreed with me that the two of them should be banned for life, and certainly not near any leadership roles.

I've said on here before that the Australian 'win at any costs' attitude is the only thing I hate about this country, drives me mad. I see it even in junior football/soccer. Been here 23 years and have fully integrated in every other aspect of Australian culture.

Not sure that Atherton was ever found guilty of cheating, how long was his ban for and did he ever regain his place in the team after he served his time?

And you didn’t answer my question about Bancroft, I think Warner and Smith were total cowards for chucking him under the bus, and no amount of crocodile tears on telly will change that. Did you not feel any shame over that incident?

But as I said earlier the Australian cricket team are the Kopites of the ICC so no surprise that their fans don’t. I can also understand why you’d like to forget all about it, but as you point out Smith and Warner are still in the team. Hence why I’ve mentioned it.

Your team has a long history of cheating/bending rules in order to win at all costs, from Lillee’s metal bat to Chappell getting his brother to bowl underarm and on to Smith and Warner finally getting caught. Personally I’d add the recent run out to this list, however credit where it’s due, congratulations on winning the Ashes 2-2.

I think the format is fine, I generally don't enjoy cricket in the sub continent as much as in elsewhere but if you can't get to the semi's in this format then you have had every chance to do so. You need a bit of luck in the knockout stage, but thats all part of it for me.
