You dont drop players in case they get a booking, what next, dont play a player in case he gets a red, dont play a player in case he gets injured, dont let the player touch a jar of mayo in case he drops it on his toe?

with mcarthy potentially missing the next game i would have rested him and played heitinga instead.
as for osman and mirallas , i thought they showed no heart or drive in the last game. both should be dropped to shake them up a bit. deulofeu and barkley played well enough to be rewarded with a starting place today.

I really doubt Martinez is that kind of manager to be honest. Theres a plan and Osman is in for some reason.

similary mate when he osman came on the other week the game turned completely, but as you know im not a fan of osman and reckon hes better from the bench, i think its just part of martinez's woirking on developing barkley, rightly or wrongly i dunno but i give him the respect to know the player better than i do
