When Mirralas was signed, he was excited to be playing with his mate Jelavic, and his mate Fellaini, but he's not. I think he's an unhappy bunny, and may well want to move in January or at the end of the season.

His best mate is Lukaku.

He's best played on the left side of an attack. That said, he comes across as having a bad attitude. Maybe he needs to buy another gold Bentley to cheer himself up, the fanny.

Different take on today: not good enough, but still dictating the game, Boberto made the changes early and we started to turn the screw more toward the end. No injuries. No suspensions. Derby upcoming and we take them on knowing some key players of ours owe us a good performance whilst Liverpool have their momentum stopped by the international break.

You've just jinxed it! They'll drop like flies now over the next 2 weeks.

Left the game today feeling more frustrated than anything. The passing between defense and midfield is all well and good but our final ball was lacking big time, Coleman and Baines being the 2 main culprits I think. Also we never got in behind their defense and the frustration from the fans started rubbing off on the players as the second half went on. Our only attacking player who was really in the game was Pienaar imo.

Never known such a massive celebration for a home 0-0 draw as the Palace fans today. It was like they'd won FFS.

Speroni, Ward, Gabbidon, Delaney, Moxey, Jedinak, Dikgacoi, Bannan, Thomas, Bolasie, Chamakh.

...And they should of won. Dear me.

We weren't great were we ? Still, no-one died.
Got to say the Palace fans were great today, before, during and after the game. They were dead friendly too. I'd like to think they could stay up, but they won't.

F*cking hell. Drew a game have we?
I thought that is what I was supposed to say! I've been saying for a while that we are not nearly as bad as most of the cliched tabloids make out.We saved our best and most consistent performance of the season so far for today.Sods law it was against you guys and I wish that it hadn't.We are not down already and we deserved our point today. Our next four games are Hull, Norwich, West Ham and Cardiff. Play like today and we have a chance.
Not many of our players would be first choice for Everton and I would to expect you to beat us seven times out of ten. Not today though, not today.

Another take......a few hours after feeling like kicking next door's cat.

All this "possession" nonsense has left me a preplexed at times but if I take something positive from this game it is that I think I see the benefits of it now.

Notwithstanding the fact they missed three sitters and Howard made one world class save, EFC had the lion's share of "possession".

The upshot of this was Palace's players just collapsed in the last fifteen minutes due to the running around they were doing all afternoon and we laid siege to their goal.

Clutching at straws, maybe but hey, Van the Man once told us there's be days like these.
