Need Doucoure and Gomes to step up and dominate the game. The Everton we know and hate would sit back in the second half to concede the inevitable equaliser, let´s hope we see something different.
More so him than Gomes for me. If he can turn over play and start marauding forward (with out without the ball), it'll make it more difficult for them to press us.

They look a decent outfit and far more offensive than in previous years, however that means we'll have more space play into if we can up the momentum.

Gomes can be making those chances for Docouré.

DCL has to stop coming out wide looking for the ball.

Richarlison i can see getting one or two more here.

Need to score first this half.

I don't know why there is any discussion on it because the rules say it's a penalty. United/Liverpool would have had it without the referee needing to consult the monitor himself. Very, very happy that the referee decided to go with the rules, however it just shows that even with VAR the power lies with the referee to decide the fate of the game.

I wouldn’t expect that penalty to be given in previous seasons, however, the way the season has started regarding handballs in the box, that’s a penalty these days.

Yep, I thought Mccarthy had a decent half for them then.

We've got to keep matching them for work rate and if we do that then our extra class should show and get us the 3 points

hoping they run out of steam. One or both James Mcs will be replaced for a similar player. Carlo just needs to get it right tactically in the second half. Doucoure will be key and I think he’ll get more space in the 2nd half

Honestly sick of this “deliberate or not” chat. If a player slides in, in the box, and takes an attacker out and it’s not deliberate, it’s a flipping pen.

I do not care if a handball is deliberate - If the hand/arm is away from the body and stops the ball, it’s a pen.
Agree. Nobody “deliberately” does these things. Unless you’re talking Suárez in the World Cup.
