Not exactly the turnaround we were expecting.
To be fair, he needed a lot more time at Derby. Chelsea came way too soon for him and the Everton job was just a chance to get back in the game after no takers for 12 months. He was never suited to a relegation battle.

Spot on. Can't be any worse. Playing youngsters was one of the few reasons I could get behind the appointment of Lampard.
If he isn't even going to do that then his appointment makes less and less sense.

This is nothing to do with Lampard. It’s all down to the players. Too many of them are just not good enough, and the confidence of the whole team/squad/club is at rock bottom. We might well get relegated this season, but it still won’t be Lampard’s fault. He isn’t a miracle worker.
