I thought Palace were awful.
They aint going much further.
They smashed us 4-0 so we know what that makes us.

The simple issue is our 5hit defenders. Unless the rest of the team can minimise the exposure upon Holgate and Keane, the oppo is going to score goals and keep on scoring.
Our midfield can protect so much, but you still need the CBs to do basics properly.
Godfrey running himself into the ground trying to cover the spaces where the calamity sisters should be.

Ever since Marco Silva we look shaky at all set pieces and have continued to do so for several years now. Because its the same defenders.
Zonal is fine, don't try it with these players who have looked incapable for years now.
We do not have the correct calibre of defender.
Of course we miss Mina, but in that he is better than the other two without being great.

Then we have Gray offering nothing again and DCL was largely missing when we need somebody to stand up and take the fight.

Frank needs to find a way of not having Keane and Holgate on the pitch at the same time.
One clean sheet against Newcastle changes nothing, except demonstrate how well our midfield did in minimising how many times Newcastle forwards could get at them.

Our best hope for the rest of the season is that teams give us too much respect based on an old reputation.
If anybody simply tries to have a go at our defenders, keep getting the ball into our defensive third then we are fracked.
The first goal. Doucoure stands still in the box instead of attacking the ball and Keane tries his best to get through a player to get to the header of the ball. The second goal. You could see the run Zaha was making and Doucoure jogs back instead of sprinting to put him under pressure. So that wasn't down to defenders.

The games against Burnley and Watford are massive in our race for the 17th place trophy.
The game today gives me no hope whatsoever of even getting draws against those two.

We know we are useless away, but we need to find more points at Goodison with a brilliant crowd keeping the belief.

This is exactly what we don’t need, ridiculous excuses for a shambolic and embarrassing bunch of crabs.

We are a disgrace.

How do we move on when the same issues keep happening? There were fishy decisions today however it’s how you react to them and we don’t, we hide or sulk and get beat.

Before you move on you learn from the past and we don’t , on and off the pitch.

I think their second goal tells you everything you need to know about this Everton team, we had two men going to close a Palace player down, obviously one didn't trust the other to do his job, as it transpired neither of them and could do it. That released the an attack down our flank, Gomes was closest to the goal scorer, he couldn't be bothered running back along side him and he just ambled into the box in time to see the ball hit the back of the net.
We have players who don't trust one another, and who can blame them, I wouldn't trust any of them to do anything to do with football besides collect their wages. We have Gomes who is really a squad player who when given a chance to play should be busting a gut to impress and as we all clearly seen he can't be bothered tracking back.
I was buoyed up by the Newcastle result but having watched us capitulate once again I can't see where we are going to get the points we need.

Bet you wished you hadn't now...
Dead right. Dublin v Donegal just starting. These unpaid men would leave our Muppets lying and rolling around and just ignore them. If a player goes down in GAA it is because he actually can't get up.

Tough one for the Dubs. Seamus C would be a great asset for his home county of Donegal.

First point for Dubs, now one for Donegal.

At least I will see real effort in this for the full match. Saw nothing from Everton after 15 minutes.

Generally speaking, we would be in a much better league position without relying on Keane and Holgate.
Take your points on Doucoure, he was poor as well.

I didn't post excuses! I posted what actually happened.

If you saw something different, then let's see what you have to say about those incidents...

Was that another time?

Im talking about when he received the ball in 5 yards of space and instantly turned backwards.
Okay I get you now. You don't like Coleman, you wish he would disappear off the face of the earth. You believe that Patterson, who is untried in the Premier League and hasn't convinced the manager that he is ready to take a regular place in the first team, should be our right-back of choice from now on. How on earth the board managed to overlook your superb credentials and appoint you as manager when Carlos left is one of those mysteries that will never be solved.
