Frank said it wasn’t his tactics, and we need to be more clinical when on top in the first 20min, but that formation doesn’t work with these players. Richie isn’t best suited to being a striker so all that possession leads to nothing. As soon as we brought DCL on against Newcastle we looked much better. Why didn’t he stick with that? And the defence looked much better in a four, and was it Begovic that gave them more convenience?

Why is it that when some teams go down they use it to galvanize them , why look spineless as f*** !? I'm not talking about top teams, look at Leicester, Newcastle, Brentford. They hardly ever capitulate after conceding. Makes me sick!

We’ve become a joke on and off the pitch thanks to these bottle jobs and the clowns in charge!
In nearly 40 years of watching Everton, I have never seen a more pathetic, weak minded set of players don our shirt.
They’re cheating us fans each and every week and the sooner they’re all gone the better. They’re losers and not Lampard, or a Pep, Klopp or anyone else will change that. I’ll accept be beaten the better side (and Palace where so much better than us it's unreal), but I’ll never accept our players giving up and that’s what they do time and time again. I’m embarrassed to have them represent my club.

I woke up this morning and as i was standing there having a piss i thought..yep. that did happen. They've embarrassed this club again.

-------------------Pickford--------------------

Pattterson--Branthwaite---Welch-----Mykolenko

------------Allan--Price---Onyango--------------

Gordon----------Dobbin---------------Richarlison

screw the rest of the team and play the kids
I like the theory but in reality that could destroy some of those kids. We don't know how good they are yet - and this doesn't feel like the right time to find out.

You could bet your house on this lot throwing in the towel the moment things get tricky. They have nothing about them, no fight, no desire... no personal pride.
The few that do care are either not good enough or they're legs have gone.
I've no doubt Coleman gives his all for this club but he's finished at this level and should have been phased out 2 seasons ago. He should be remembered as a great servant to this club - arguably our best RB of the Premierleague era but instead he'll most likely be remembered as the first captain to get this club relegated in 4 generations and that's the club's fault for failing him.
Gordon clearly cares but he's a kid and when you take away his passion and work rate (which puts the likes of Dom and Richie to shame at the moment), he lacks the quality to really make a difference. He shouldn't need to be trying to do it all on his own but he's being let down by the senior pros around him who steal a wage week after week.
Holgate and Keane are the worst CB pairing I've ever seen. They're a pair of cowards and when you add Kenny and Godfrey into the mix, there isn't a leader amongst them!
Gomes is the most pointless footballer of all time. Can't run, tackle, pass, shot... he fills space in the middle of the park, that's it - you could put one of the kids from the u23's and he'd do better.
There's zero athleticism in midfield and the little sprinkling of stardust we had with the likes of James or Digne we binned (Insert swear word of choice and aim it at Benitez) Then upfront we have Richie who's more interested in buying a free kick than scoring goals these days and Dom, who on the odd occasion he does actually play looks like he'd rather be doing anything else other than playing football. The alternative to these two is Rondon (seriously how did we get to this)?
We ended the game with Iwobi and Gordon playing full backs when we had 30m worth of new, young International FB's on the bench. How bad must they be that they don't get a game over this shower. Another fine example of Everton's flawless recruitment policy (what was it Bill said... when other clubs have a decision to make, they think "what would Everton do"?)
El Ghazi - signed as a favour to allow Villa to cook the FFP books so they could sign Coutinho
Dele Alli - signed because we've learned nothing from the last 5 years
You'd think, just by fluke or chance we'd get one signing right by now but no - we are consistent in our uselessness.
None of this is Lampards fault btw. The guy is a serial winner. I can't imagine what he's thinking when he sees players just switch off. He's inherited a shocking squad lacking confidence, class and any kind of fight. Whatever Carlo instilled in these players, was beaten out of them by Benitez. Lampard's picking up the pieces but the damage is done.
Whether we stay up by the skin of our teeth or go down, this summer needs to be a hard reset for the club - sell what you can for as much money as possible and start again almost from scratch, and believe me there isn't a single player in the squad I would be sad to see go.

Sorry, I'm a little ranty this morning.

They all switched off there pretty horribly. But Holgate in particular. What was he doing he literally walked 5 steps across the box like he was about to run out for a quick one in the Winslow. And that was before saha even struck the ball. He turned around just in time to witness the goal. I wouldn't even expect that from a lazy Le Tissier type striker.

But from your centre half. Criminal.
he was like me. I was watching whilst sending a text, saw the ball going over looked back down at my phone and heard a cheer. Hard to see if he has his mobile out or not in this shot. Massive lack of concentration and focus throughout our squad. Exactly the sort of thing that happens when you throw £30m at average players who dont give a stuff about the club.

I used to think local lads got an easy ride and I can kind of understand it now. At least Gordon makes the effort. 11 players like him working as a unit and running their socks off will give anyone a game.
