Go 433 in second half and at least have a go. Ffs these players are shocking though. All that momentum from Thursday and they cba defending a set piece.

One team can defend and one team are like the keystone cops when it gets near our box. We have fed their confidence by gifting goals. You can’t win games defending like that at this level.

How is it possible to be this different in the space of 72hrs?!

I don’t think we have been that bad mate. The defending and keeping for the two goals are awful but aside from that I think we have held our own and had chances.

I would be looking at putting DCL on at half time unless he really isn’t up for it. I read that Lampard might have said he had a reaction to playing the other night in which case I wouldn’t risk him. Maybe bring in young Price for Gomes

The first 20 mins was brilliant. But Townsend getting injured completely changed the game. He's been replaced by somebody who doesn't run, when Townsend runs the most.

May as well pack up and get off now. No hope these charlatans gonna fight back here. Belief and momentum seemed to evaporate when Townsend got injured. They were able to regroup and we knew our opportunity had gone.

That Gray shot there is the biggest problem in my opinion. Put his head down immediately to shoot with a poor angle.

They all do it.

Need to watch some Ted Lasso.

One more pass is just not something these guys think about.

Thursday was example of what we need more of. Team play.

Our defending is just not aggressive enough. Bust a gut to block the crosses. That Zaha chance and their second goal were both preventable, if the defender had kept sprinting instead of stopping 2 yards away and allowing the cross.

The defence kill us. It should be 0-0 really but because our defenders don't do the basics and don't actually want to defend or block or actually run we are 2-0 down

With 5 at the back nobody takes responsibility for marking and picking up runners and there’s still a gaping hole in the middle of the pitch somehow? Have whatever gameplay you want but if you concede easily from set pieces you’re on a hiding to nothing
