Started great... then that injury just opens up the brittleness of Everton at the moment.

Gordon gets a dead leg on the knee and no yellow for Palace. This stuff affects games and seems we get zero protection.

'Kin Keane beaten to the ball for the first and miles off the man for the 2nd... He's got to go, but this is a tired team with fitness issues playing a sprightly side on the up at home, very tough 2nd half ahead... Looking for indivudal fight and who's gonna help us stay up.

Really really disappointing yet again and another shambolic outing after giving the fans some hope on Thursday - FFS Everton

Players look lost. No ideas going forward. Slow on the ball. No movement. No balls being played forward in behind. Look like conceding everytime Palace go forward

At least this is the cup, but if anyone thinks we are getting even one point away from home the rest of this season you're sadly, sadly mistaken
I will is no way i accept that we cant get even a point away from home.

I don’t think we have been that bad mate. The defending and keeping for the two goals are awful but aside from that I think we have held our own and had chances.

I would be looking at putting DCL on at half time unless he really isn’t up for it. I read that Lampard might have said he had a reaction to playing the other night in which case I wouldn’t risk him. Maybe bring in young Price for Gomes
Thing is the weakest player up top is the one we have brought on, would Lampard sub a sub for DCL to come on? I doubt it very much.

Palace have had 4 attempts on goal and scored two. We have had 9 attempts on goal and have only had one on target. Don't know what we do in training.

Anyone think we are getting another point away from home this season need to give your head a wobble, absolutely not happening.

This game is following the exact route as Newcastle, Southampton and Spurs. Completely useless and worrying as we have to play Burnley and Watford away, those games could see us go down.

How many times have we seen that identical first goal scored against us this season? Other teams must do special "Free kicks and corners into the middle of the penalty area against Everton" training sessions.

We were doing so well when we were aggressive and pressing from the front. Then we go a goal down and just decided to sit back and let palace do what they want. Heads dropped and all aggression gone. Hope they come out and start the second half like they started the first.

This is the problem with 3 at the back. When your tail's up the full backs are wingers, but the moment you lose confidence in attacking (which for us is basically when a throw in goes against us) it just ends up with 5 crap defenders camped in your own half.

No pattern to our attacks, no quick passes from the players that should be playing them (Gordon, Gray, Richarlison). Time to go out for and enjoy the nice weather I think blues.
