The worst part of today was another total lack of proactive subs.

It worries me more than our players do.

… except muapay
We had 2 keepers and 4 defenders on the bench. It's difficult to have proactive subs when there's little else to offer. In saying that, thinking that Holgate had a brain was careless so that could have been more proactive.

Dyche must really not rate Patterson. First Holgate (taken to the cleaners) and Godfrey (proved himself inadequate on both sides as full back).

Personally I have no idea having seen him have some good games at the start of the season. Must be the wrong baby Jesus.

MotM Iwobi or Pickford.

Our central defence is growing worse game by game.
It’s a bit mad. Like you say, I remember him having some great games early season, especially that Liverpool game. He was getting a lot of praise and I think he was MOTM in a few matches. He was basically first choice and defensively we looked better then than now.

He is certainly not as bad as is being made out and I’ve no idea why he’s being left out for Holgate and Godfrey. He might be rusty/not fit but then isn’t it Dyche’s job to get players back up to the mark and integrate them back?

He might be the only player who is remembered more negatively for being out, usually it’s the opposite.

….nothing new today, dreadfully short on quality but we ground out a draw. Total inability to keep possession (remember watch Baines in tight situations, playing terrific little passes that looked so easy but were so difficult), it’s what players at this level regardless of position should be capable of.

Holgate starting was a concern, he thinks he’s better than he is and I hoped his ego might get him through but he’s pretty useless.

On the plus side, we got a point, DCL came back plus Doucoure is now available for the remaining games.

It’s grim, we might need snookers but we have a chance.

First game i have seen this season. We looked very solid defensively, but no one manages to create anything going forward. passing, dribling, creativity, or anyone that even looks remotely exciting is totally missing in this team

I thought that our defence was poor just like the previous 2 games.

I actually wonder if Dyche isnt looking for a quick pay off.

Incredibly poor judgement by Dyche

The real loser here is @Alan Whittle

Only holgate for me that looked poor in defence. Dyche should have taken him off long before his red card. Poor decision

For me, the defence is way too high up the pitch...set pieces also there seems to be pure luck in the ball falling to our players.

Looks very disorganised imo
