….nothing new today, dreadfully short on quality but we ground out a draw. Total inability to keep possession (remember watch Baines in tight situations, playing terrific little passes that looked so easy but were so difficult), it’s what players at this level regardless of position should be capable of.

Holgate starting was a concern, he thinks he’s better than he is and I hoped his ego might get him through but he’s pretty useless.

On the plus side, we got a point, DCL came back plus Doucoure is now available for the remaining games.

It’s grim, we might need snookers but we have a chance.

Sadly @Eggs I think we are down already

Hard work watching us. A truly dreadful football team. McNeil or Tarks for MoM - just for effort but DCL did ok on his return. Pickford solid if largely untested. The rest were hopeless. Absolutely hopeless and I would sell the lot for whatever we can get.

Everton defender James Tarkowski says: "We were quite disappointed, we're in a real battle and we need more. We had the opportunity to pick up three points.

"To grind it out with 10 men is nice but there's way more from us. We defended well, we had conceded a few goals recently so that's a plus but we need to do more and expect more from our forward players. We have some really talented boys but we need more from them.

"It has been a tough season and maybe we are losing that confidence. The players we have got are super super talented boys.

"The season has not finished now so I don't look at the table, there's six games to go."

Why doesn't Dyche do anything to positively effect a game? Every man and has dog could see that Holgate was going to get sent off, but beyond that we were never going to win that game the way we were set up, why wait until an 80th minute red card to change things?
You mean the obvious sub of Godfrey for Holgate wouldn't win us the right flank battle? lol
