Aye double checked it on about 3 separate sites as couldn't quite believe just how much they paid, problem with their loan players mate is their hardly lighting the world up at mid table or lower teams, no way i see Brenda trusting them when he can just buy some more foreign lids to repeat the same mistake, its the Liverpool way and all that :)

....I think Borini has already stated his determination to fight for his place there next season, so Rodgers might have to have him back. I'd be surprised if they take up an option to buy Moses, so that'll probably be one in-one out.

Not only did Sakho cost 18m but I am sure he only had 12 months left on his contract

i'm not sure they have the right mentalities to recover from last night tbh. it will definitely get to gerrard anyway, seeing suarez' reaction makes you wonder whether he has a strong mentality, a lot of the rest are young and weak minded imo. sturridge will not have a season as good as this for the rest of his career as well. everything has gone right for them and they still may not have won the league.

not sure rodgers is good enough to attract the top quality players the fans are expecting now they're back in champions league and i can't think of too many of the current crop who are of that level either. we'll see i suppose, personally think they'll struggle, a lot of people would have thought that the start of this season though.

Don't know about this mate. He has shown this time and time again, week after week. We can hate the little tit all we want but the facts remain, he is a very good footballer, no question about it. Actions speak louder than words and that reaction last night screamed that he has given it his all this season and it still won't get them over the finish line. It shattered him in the respect that he has realized the hopes rely solely on him and him alone. His defence and more importantly, the man in charge of the one system in which has seen him flourish, has infact let him down.

takes someone of incredibly thick skin to be okay with being called every name under the sun and carry on cheating tbf. he just looked utterly broken though. given his previous though, we can't be sure whether it was genuine, he's not all there in the head, that's for sure, surely he wouldn't pretend to cry on live TV in front of millions though, ha.

i think it was. it's a team game at the end of the day. those same defenders have been providing him with many assists this season so should probably watch his mouth. i'll be surprised if he doesn't mention something during the WC about the leaky defence costing them. if you pick glen johnson, it's going to happen though.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't have a fight with Johnson. The mans a rat; hope him and stevie me go in for a 50/50 and they both break their legs, it'd be like:

Yeah good point. Whilst i like to think that that last night was the moment the weight of the team buckled him, i wouldn't be surprised and it certainly wouldn't be beyond him to see an opportunity. How many times has this utter moron been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons ? All the shocking stories before this season and diving/cheating stories this.

Maybe appearing to shed some tears before a world wide audience was his opportunity and attempt to sweep some of this under the carpet. The cheating prick that he is, its certainly plausible.
