Pretty shameful those pictures of not one of our players showing any sort of concern for the lad. Bad player or not, for not one of them to show any sort of team spirit or togetherness is an embarrassment.

Lots on mindreaders and amateur psychologists out today. Players often walk away from these situations - they're not medics, and will be of more help just getting out of the way. An injured person in distress doesn't want a crowd of people staring and slapping them on the back. It doesn't mean they don't care.

Like everyone in the team, he would look a much better player in a much better team.

He has some pace and has put in some good crosses this season.

He's obviously not a good right back, and not a left back at all. But I can see him playing as a right wing back.

I watched it back earlier and Pickford was in the vicinity most of the time whilst Martina was being treated, and Williams was around (and checked on) Martina later on as well, roughly the same time a few of the Lyon players did, they weren't always there.

Obviously that then means that no other Everton players went over to him which is odd, but that doesn't neccesarily mean they don't like him.

All the money spent, how did we end up with someone whose job it is to defend but actually

A) doesn't understand positioning
B) doesn't know how to tackle
C) won't tackle when he has the chance

Little Jimmy in the u9's is surely a better option.
