Think it's a relegation playoff. We're going down unless we bin that fraud of a manager.

Get Benitez back, we need someone who will clear all the deadwood and passengers out.
Yes indeed. Those hard-core Evertonians (who really know footie) reckon he's revolutionising the club. Clearing it out, top to bottom. But mostly via the bottom. Like a good dose of epsom salts.

Yes I follow the fortunes of clubs abroad.. certain ones get more interest than others and I am pretty sure many many football fans do that...
But before dalian which you have already shared you only took interest in after benitez went there, who did you support?

I dunno, I didn't even know what colour they wear until I became a super fan a couple of days ago. Up the Pro!
Yeah there is the regular league. 2 groups of 8. Which dalian were in group B and came bottom.

Top 4 of each group go into the championship league. Bottom 4 of each group go into relegation league. Dalian are 5th in relegation league so currently safe from relegation.

Awesome. See? That's the platform Benitez bequeathed them and that's why they need him back!

Yeah - The only fault with what you say is that it's pretty much nonsense and very reminiscent of some older people who prefer projecting their bias and resentment rather than actually talking to a kid.

Aspiring to a jet setting playboy lifestyle isn't a recent phenomenon and nor is some footballers being a little more into the fame, socialising and money side of the game. There would have been plenty of young lads back in the respective days who rather aspired to be like George Best or "Champagne" Charlie Nicholas and not strictly for the footballing side of it.

Look at the kids at a football game and they aren't imagining the wage packet or rewards. Loads of them would love to hop over the fence and kick a ball around the pitch for the thrill of it and daydream about winning trophies, beating rivals and playing in huge matches. I've seen kids at Prescot Cables in replica shirts absolutely loving it....and that's certainly not because of the money, Ferrari or even the "bird on my arm with big boobs and blonde hair" opportunities.
Enjoyed reading your thoughts... you mention there are still loads of younger ones around today who share the same footballing feelings as us older fellers... if that’s the case why do they dismiss the greatest cup competition in the world.. the F.A.Cup ? back in the day they wouldn’t do that in a million years and would go as far as to say if you offered them an F.A.Cup win or a top four place they would say the latter.. this proves it’s all about money..
