Is that orientation confirmed? So the length of the stadium will run parallel to the Mersey?

I’m very pleased if that’s so, but I thought we’d been lead to believe that the size and shape of the plot meant that the end of the stadium would be parallel to the river...

This is what the document showed:

Imagine a VAR decision on that big screen in a few years time. Beautiful.
Picturing it now. Steven Gerrard's son, Steven Junior, goes down in the area, but the referee Collina - brought out of retirement for a second time at the age of 73 - waves away his protests for a penalty. Liverpool manager, Sir James Carragher, is livid on the sidelines, spluttering and spitting everywhere, demanding a VAR review and his wish is granted. The big screen indeed shows that Gerrard Jr performed a classic, flagrant dive at the Boys' Pen end of the ground, yet Collina has his finger to his ear, clearly listening to what VAR referee Steve McManaman has to say. After a four-minute delay a penalty is unbelievably awarded, scored by Jürgen Rush, the young striker making his debut, and Liverpool pip us to the Netflix Premier League title. Get rid of that kin screen ffs.
