this will be the reality check he needs for him to become our playmaker supreme and win all the trophys! yes..thanks cyclists(sorry about the scrapes)

I didn't forget but society and standards have moved along since then, remember it was also acceptable to smoke in the office at work!

So cos Pienaar offered us something at the time he is forgiven but our players gets injured a lot and so drink driving is a bigger offence than him?! What about pienaar hitting some bird? Also forgiven.
no mate not forgiven. I didn't know about him hitting a bird.

But Gibson left the scene of a crime that he committed. Did pienaar? ( genuine question as not sure)

Gibson is a known drunk and a complete waste of wages.

Pretty sure drink driving wasn't 'acceptable' in the 90's , we aren't talking the 70's here . If John stones did it there wouldn't be calls to sack him or talk that "I'd lose my job the lad should be sacked " or "sold to Chelsea the next window " . We'd make excuses I'd almost guarantee it .

We give the kopites stick for their two-faced attitude but the faux outrage over this has really surprised me . Is it good ? No not at all , it's it as bad as some seem to think ? I'll be honest not at all in my opinion.

Serious question mate Would you sack stones , lukaku or McCarthy ? Or transfer list them in the same situation or does your moral outrage only kick in when the player isn't really performing for the side .

I'm not having a go by the way .

If any of them players carried on like Gibson they would also be of no use to us . So yeah I would .

He steals a living the worse thing is he is a decent player but would rather spend his time getting drunk rather than trying to get fit and earn his wages.

And moral outrage haha . I won't apologise for disliking drunk drivers . especially ones that run away and leave there victim. Cowards

So if john stones had a minor accident drunk you'd want him gone from the club ? Fair enough I admire you're stance I suppose .

I take it you carry this position as regards to Ferguson ? Didn't want him him , didn't want him back or on the coaching staff etc ?

I can see drunken driving has never affected your family because if it has you would have a different opinion. Just because he is a footballer on your team doesnt mean you should exempt him on issues that could and have killed innocent people.
My cousin was killed by a drunk driver and recently a coworker was killed while cycling by a drunken driver. Trust me when one of your loved ones are killed by a drunken driver you will see it definitely is as bad as you think.

Ok mate again I take that stance & understand if people feel like that . So if you don't mind I'll ask the same question , you'd sack/transfer list any first team player in the same circumstances? Presumably you felt the same about Duncan and still feel the same that he didn't/doesn't belong at our club ?

I'm genuinely not looking to be argumentative just to get your position . It's clearly a subject that's emotive to you so I'm trying to see if that transcends any ability connection with players etc..
