Good player, could have been an excellent player if he had looked after himself in the right way.
As it is and the level we aspire to we shouldnt renew and he hasnt justified it, its a position we can improve in, with a similar more reliable player in a play making role, id include Ossie in that as well.

Hibbert as well and with Howard for the bullet i would think thats a fair chunck of the Moyes old guard gone.

It's obvious to Stevie Wonder that he has the vision and poise to be a great player in the near future.
RM was singing his praises the other day, and with good reason. Hopefully he's involved heavily in the pre-season tour and getting more senior games soon. It'd be great to see Barkley drop back and that lad to be pulling strings just ahead of him.

He was cut from the Irish squad for their upcoming friendlies yesterday too. He's fallen out of favour here so I can't understand why he wasn't doing whatever it took to get a move out, either permanent or on loan to get some football. Looks very unlikely he'll be going to the Euros now.

...I suspect he didn't go on loan because he didn't want too, perhaps he also doesn't want to go the Euro's.
I could forgive Martinez for falling out with Gibson, he is a waste of space. He had the opportunity to go to the Euros, surely a great achievement for a professional footballer, but he has chosen to sit on his hands at Everton and pick up his unearned wages. He has to be first in a major spring clean come the end of the season. We can free up £200,000 in wages without affecting our first team. That money could be put to good use on somebody who will make a contribution to the team.
