When he first came it he was great, easy to forget that now, shame really it didn't continue.

A combination of injuries leading to poor form and then subsequently less first team chances to try and re-find his form. When he finally did get a run in the side around this time last year he looked good again, and then, got injured.

It's a shame but it's how it is and I do think we've got better players ahead of him.

Would like to see him given a run-out this weekend though, although I won't mind at all if Barry plays - and we also may have Besic back.

I have not heard anything?

What do you mean, mate. Gibson has been fit since September. Started two games. Played 120 minutes against Nowich in October and played 90 minutes against Dagenham in January. Doubt he'll start another game for the blues so you have nothing to worry about.

He,s never been fit, when playing looked very good, but if he's crocked why play him????

Mate, he's been available for selection since mid-September and has been in the matchday squad 18 times. He's out of contract at the end of the season and is 7th choice in the Martinez rankings. If he gets the option to go to a promotion-chasing Championship team on loan next week then he should take it as his Everton career looks to be basically finished.

In that case a loan deal would what he needs
