Every time I remember that Darron Gibson still plays at Everton it makes me sad. He was so brilliant for us when he first arrived and then he just disappeared to the physio room. He must have a shot at a game, RM can't keep with the same CM pair if he's going to try and turn things around. Hopefully he's fit?

Sadly these days the only glimpse of Gibbo we get is when they release training pics. From the last few weeks...

I wonder if he and pienaar are truly finished, or under a different manager they would have been used more this season, at their best they were both considerably better than the players who seem to have replaced them, they must be someway off their best, though martinez has a funny way of treating players

If people want Barry at DM then no way could Gibson play next to him.

If anything Gibson or Barry and Gibson offers nothing apart from passing.

Think hes our worst midfielder by some distance though and looking forward to him leaving in the summer.
 
He's one of the best passers at the club, but his injury record will mean he'll move on this summer, probably to a Championship club.

His performance against Dagenham in the FA Cup didn't do him any favours either.

£290k a week getting rid of this deadwood. Ibrahamovic anyone?
