Maybe I'm just strange but I think he's actually played well. He's been better than Besic

We would still undoubtedly be better off !
Better than MaCarthy held the non existent midfield today at times, still past it though injury wise!Good performance on his return, best player first half
No idea what game you lot were watching....
Did zero apart from a few passes, a disgraceful foul on long and waddled around looking disinterested.
Look at the energy and quality compared to a 17 year old who got on the ball, tackled well, kept things simple and showed some desire.

You want to get rid of six players you consider deadwood and then bring in a thirty four year old striker who is looking for a retirement home to see out the last couple of seasons of his career.
Bitter much? Gibson did well today. Wheeled out for a first game in over 3 months and he looked the best on the pitch for most of the first half. You criticise a player for saving a goal-scoring chance and getting his team-mate out of jail? Touched the ball more than anyone apart from RFM despite coming off as sub. Tired second half but that's to be expected. Plenty of positive remarks from fellow posters and even from the stats sites.

We have much bigger problems than to be worrying about Gibson.

If you don't understand why he made that foul, you don't understand football.
