Quality player, might be broken a lot of the time but the times he is fit its criminal he doesn't get more game time, especially how crap we've been. He never looks off pace either after being out just runs outve juice after 70 odd minutes.

This, he's never been bad for us, it's a head scratcher, especially when you consider we've been flogging a mid 30s Barry for two seasons straight.

That's the problem with Gibson. I've seen him have very good games for Everton but not enough good ones on a run of games. No matter what people say I can't get excited about him as he will probably stub his toe whilst making a brew tonight and be out till the summer.

Another who gets dogs abuse. Put in a very decent shift today in 'midfield' that had lightweights in abundance in Osman, Delefeu and Mirallas. Him and Besis had a lot to do albeit some of what Besic did was the stuff that's not pleasing on the eye

+1

I thought he played quite well today.

Stupid. Same nonsense spouted about Barrys deliberate fouls when he hasnt the pace to get back and tackle.

A defensive midfielder wouldnt have their player goalside like that...he does nothing but stand around and wait for the ball to pass along....no other attributes and i dont see Bayern in for him or anyone else.

Total liability.

Utter rubbish. The reason he was in that position was because he was moving out as Funes Mori brought the ball out, making himself available for the pass. When Funes Mori decided to overrun the ball, he had to make that foul as Funes Mori was way out of position and had given the ball away.

Your whole post was total tripe; Gibbo being over the age of 20 doesn't fit into your FM fuelled delusions over the future of the squad and instead of judging him on his performance today you create a load of rubbish to fit your youth obsessed narrative.

You keep playing computer games and talking crap and I'll keep going to the actual games and basing my opinion on what the players do on the pitch.

I thought he played well today. He is a leader on the pitch which is something we lack. His career has badly stalled, I do wonder if Martinez is the problem though?
