Darron Gibson

The manager needs to start considering his own decisions as much as the players performances.
Gibson, appears to be fit and if so should be considered for selection. I find it difficult to understand why he hasn't had any involvement in the last few months and yet was not sent out on loan in January.

I rate Gibson highly , I think he manages games very well. I think there have been half a dozen games this season that if Gibson had been brought on for the last twenty minutes we might not have conceded sloppy goals.

Hibbert - £25k a week
Gibson - £40k a week
Pienaar - £45k a week
Osman - £40k a week
McGeady - £50k a week
Kone - £40k a week
Cleverly - £50k a week

£290k a week getting rid of this deadwood. Ibrahamovic anyone?
You want to get rid of six players you consider deadwood and then bring in a thirty four year old striker who is looking for a retirement home to see out the last couple of seasons of his career.

Clearly failed to gauge the level of sarcasm here lids!

Point being, a prima-dona, psuedo-retired superstar of his ilk could be brought in on our existing budget because of the wages we SQUANDER on that junk listed.

How would gibson stop us conceding goals when he is useless defensively, turns like a tugboat and cant make a tackle?

Also,it was publicised + o'neill also said gibson needed to go on loan -- yet he didnt. Hes basically chosen to stay at the club, not play and put his euro place under threat.

Cant wait till he leaves and should have been sacked after running over cyclists drunk.

Gibson is certainly not useless defensively. He sits in front of the back four and cuts out a lot of the danger from there. He also gives a shape to our team , he dictates the tempo of the game, he keeps possession well and helps others keep possession well.

Lets see where he ends up in the summer. Id be shocked if it was higher than mid level championship.

Look mate, I've already called you up on this and here you go again. The only things that have been publicised on this are that Everton decided to retain Gibson (Besic was injured) and that O'Neill said he didn't know if Gibson or the club had the final decision in the matter.

I know you have a penchant for dreamy speculation, which is wonderful, but there has been nothing further publicised on this matter either way so kindly stop bluffing that there has been. Here are the publicised details on this matter. Maybe you might actually read them this time. Thanks.

The former Manchester United man was used as a late substitute in yesterday's FA Cup tie with Carlisle and injury to Mo Besic may have influenced the decision for him to remain with the Blues.

"I will speak to Darron anyway. There might have been an opportunity to go but I'm not exactly sure," said O'Neill. "Or the manager may have wanted him to stay. I'll find out... But the final decision may not be with the player. If the decision is with the club, there is not much you can do about that. I will give him a call."

Gibson was primed to go out on loan in January but the Blues performed a u-turn and kept the Republic of Ireland international at Goodison.

None of us know anything more than this, unless you have the great inside scoop as usual? Would love to see it. xx

As if nobody would have King Zlatan over the likes of Kone, Hibbert, mcgeady etc..... Zlatan is still World Class even at 34 IMO.
