AgreedWhy let him go? He's still decent when fit and hardly plays. Better to keep him here on a reasonably average wage than go out and buy someone who will hardly play to replace him. He is back up cover for injuries, it makes sense in what is already a small squad.
On my way to find a suitable one mate, enough is enoughI think @KUEFC09U2 is gonna jump off a cliff soon
It was probably agreed to ages ago.
And I wouldn't be surprised if he still went this summer - we'll just get some money (a return on our initial 500k investment) for him now.
People are really over-reacting to this...
What's the use in a back up player that's always injured?
We've just re-signed Darron Gibson for two years what on earth is positive about that? They were certainly not just 'half-decent' - he was our best player by far and made us tick.
Yes, he hasn't featured a lot. Has he stunk the place out? Hardly. In fact, he played well when called upon towards the end of the campaign, and him featuring in the side coincided with Stones' return to form.
And I doubt it is. But as always, look for the negatives. There always has to be something wrong...
i really want to know who made the decision, guess theres no way we will find out?!
Whoever sanctioned this should be explaining what on earth they are thinking of and if it has the new managers approval then he has got off on the wrong foot, how can Dowell and Davies break through with this guy clogging up the squad.
Sorry,
Probably already mentioned but this just blocks a path for Davies, Walsh and ledson.
Cyclists beware.
