Does he have to pay to take her? Even half kills the romance I think. And what do you mean by 'wherever?'
Franks training on his HGV course he has to insist it's 1/2 a lager of lime or go Dutch wherever he takes her ......
He needs to choose the correct venue ......
No dark alleys etc lol

Franks only gone and landed himself a date ..

any tips greatly appreciated
Just be yourself R.No point if you pretend to be somebody you aren't. Polite and gentlemanly without changing your whole persona. We all put on a bit of a show on a first date, just be true to yourself.Remember , this is an , internet forum, you have never met any of us,so stick to what and who you are.

I think you're overthinking it and this is why you'll feel nervous. It's just a drink and a chat with another human being. Be yourself, you come across like a nice guy, just don't ask any weird questions etc.

Post updates to let us know how its going when she goes the toilet or the bar.

....how times change, your date would never go the bar in my time.

Engage in polite conversation, don't be too forward, make eye contact but don't stare her out, show interest and ask questions about what she's talking about.

I'd give that about 3 minutes and then I don't think it's too much to ask that she pops under the table and sucks you off. If she refuses then leave her with the bill and get out of there pronto.

Take your mum to the dinner with you and have her sit at the table next to yours, if your mum is willing to come along in her old wedding dress that'll help emphasise to your date that your family don't have any commitment issues and demonstrate that you're serious about this relationship.
