David Moyes interview.

Gone from being manager of one of the biggest clubs in the world to giving interviews to William Hill bookies in a random room with a sea view probably covered in spunk.

He was a very limited manager who worked under zero pressure with us and then did the dirty with his contract. Fair enough the man deserves respect for working with a limited budget but he's a coward who played cowards football.
What a bunch o’ rubbish (to put it politely).

I mean it's pretty much factual rather than opinion so.....

- He was a massive failure at Man Utd, Real, Sunderland and was turd at West Ham.
- He plays defensive minded outdated football. His away record to the top clubs is an utter disgrace.
- He was under little pressure at Everton due to budget limitations and a low expectancy.
- He ran down his contract.

I mean what exactly is rubbish?

His win ratio at Man utd is pretty much identical to LVG and Mourinho.

Some of the football we played was very good, particularly with Arteta. And the last season also was good, with Martinez basically a continuance of that for the first season.

He was under little pressure as he was over performing in regards to his budget. He barely spent anything net over his whole tenure.

At Sunderland he was pants. Sociedad he was good for the first season, poor the second. He did well at West Ham, particularly in moving Arnautovic up front, which secured safety, and bringing through Rice. The progress from when we spanked them to when they spanked us on the last day of the season was obvious.

Yeah, but the Collina 'incident' shouldn't be the defining moment in his time here. There are too many other self-inflicted moments that probably warrant greater scrutiny, unfortunately!

It’s should be as it was massive, to break the top 4 after finishing 17th and losing the best player at euro 04 on a budget of basically zero is a massive achievement . Qualifying for the CL real could have given us the ability to attract players better than Beattie etc. it was taken away from us deliberately I have no doubt, changing the rules for the RS, the draw the decision to change the rules again tolet the “best ref in the world “ referee for an extra year, only for him to do our game and restore anyway. It would have given us 25m for players and a chance to actually attract them and push on. Make no mistake Moyes was an outstanding young manager while with us for his first few years.

Unfortunately, instilled a “terrified” persona on our club.

Whilst we’ve still got bottlers from his era in the side, we’ll always have that doubt at any big team away now.

Yeah, Did so well at West Ham that he's got the second worst win rate in there history lol lol

Watched a bit of it last night and it's an interesting interview.

For me, it's all in the past now. Just good to get an insight into how things worked. I have zero feelings towards Moyes either way. I'm past holding grudges, it's weird (apart from the RS).

Only watched up to the bit about Rooney, so will have to watch the rest later.

The reception he got when he left says all you need to know how grateful the fans were. The fact he lasted 11 years on a shoestring budget while putting together teams who consistently challenged for Europe is all that matters for a lot of people. 3 managers serving up absolute guff and being chased out the club since would also back that up.
