Man, I prefer it when decent clubs stay reasonably solvent. The league would be better with the likes of Notts Forest, Sunderland, etc bringing some buzz.

He just fits West Ham well and has been allowed to assert his influence on them. I don’t think he’s the right man to manage massive egos at a club like Man Untied, but if you give him players willing to work for the team, he’ll get the most out of them.

Dunno about that. Main problem is the players at Man Utd were past it.

He never got a chance to refresh the team.

To be fair there are no disastrous career choices in modern management,worst case scenario you come out a few million richer. Doubt if many of them think in terms of a legacy. What's the average tenure of a manager these days?

It's just breaking into that pool of managers. You should have 2 or 3 bites at it.

4-1 against Leicester is a very decent result. I'll have to check out the highlights.
