David Moyes - Taking a knife to a gunfight at West Ham, Part 2

Don't think we ever beat any of the big 4 away from home did we? When they called Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool the big 4. We seemed to be City's bogey team though, remember Cahill used to have fun with them.
Suppose what I’m saying is I doubt it got better… I reckon it
Here you go

Here you go

Seems similar record to record of Martin O’Neill and harry redknapp - his contemporaries for his time at Everton.
I still reckon it shows we were consistent against the teams we should beat - top half 6 while losing to the “ big four” means getting points elsewhere.
In a crap stick to beat him with. “Losing to better funded teams”

I think the frustration was the manner of how we lost. I remember one game away to Arsenal and we were a goal down and he took Saha off and replaced him with Distin. The lack of fight at Liverpool is now par for the course but he set that malaise.

This is it. His record against the top four was awful compared to who? Compared to no one so the statement has no meaning.

His record against the RS was awful though, our eyeballs tell us that. Mid 00s Utd Chelsea Arsenal were proper strong sides but the RS weren't.

That's the unlucky loser that we all come to... errrr love while he was with us.

Eminently beatable opponent, lose the first leg at home. If it follows the Davey way they'll take it to extra time in the 2nd leg and lose on pens.
What an absolute loser.

Looking forward to Sunday lad?
