David Moyes - Taking a knife to a gunfight at West Ham, Part 2

I suspect Moyes would never have brought Siggurdson, Bolassie, Cleverley, Klaasen, McGeady, Sandro, Niasse in. Certainly not for the fees / wages.

On the other hand he'd not have gone for / charmed the likes of Lukaku, Barry, Delefeou, James, Allan etc.

Maybe it would have balanced out.
Taking Lukaku was a no brainer. Would have had us higher than fifth that season. His fault he bailed, but its the fact is it was pretty much his team carrying on the good performances from the previous season.

The length of time that defence he built carried on for is a huge statement about how good he is

He could spot a centre mid too. Wingers less so, even Pienaar was a midfielder / attacking midfielder played wide. Strikers, open to debate. But I'd merrily have a young Fellaini, Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill and even Neville back over 75% of the dossers on our current roster.

Would have us playing better footy than we are now with the same squad

Wouldnt have Doucore Allan or James and Richarlison probably would have been off as I thibk he only stayed another year because it was Ancelotti.

DCL wouldnt be scoring as much either.

But give him his credit, he would have had this lot more organised and a lot fitter.

Benrahma and Bowen look like really good wide men. Granted, they are more inside forwards, which puts them more in the Pienaar wheelhouse. Miralles was good on his day too, though he was inconsistent.
