David Moyes - Taking a knife to a gunfight at West Ham, Part 2

There's no way West Ham fans are having Benitez in to salvage their season.

Has relegation and near relegation on his CV (Newcastle and Everton).

But if some people still hang on his glory years...

Kinell he looks like he's melted.
He's turning into Harold the Tree from Fallout

Im convinced we’re waiting for him to be sacked, so we can get him.

Convinced.
It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Let’s get a manager in to save us who spent over 100 odd million in the summer and could be below us in the relegation zone come Saturday night.

Honestly, this will be the most poetic way for us to meet our doom. Bill's only relative success during his tenure was to appoint Moyes - the perfect manager for a club in decline. Not ambitious enough to demand money that wasn't there, not incompetent enough to take us down, and not in any danger of ever winning anything and forcing the club to lift our ceiling. Imagine he reappoints him only to take us down. Seeing as we're going down anyway with Frank, and seeing as Moyes would be about as unimaginative a replacement as possible, there is a delicious tang to this particular bottle of Domestos.

Go on, Bill. Torch your legacy if you are going to destroy the club.

Would you have him back mate?

We’re doomed mate.

I do fully believe we’ve got tools to come straight back up, but I don’t want to be in the Championship, what a mishmash of a league.

Moyes, would probably do a job, like Dyche or Allardyce. Going for Moyes is waving the white flag, and accepting our fate as perennial losers.

Sadly I don’t know what plan B is. What “out there” managed do you choose? Burnley done well with Kompany, Brighton went for deZerbi, who can we seriously go for which will completely transform us?

Moyes it is, sadly.

He's not doing a job for West Ham who have a stronger squad...
