I don't dislike Moyes in any way and he did doa a Great job. But fighting around "best of the rest" is all he'll ever do, he went to United a premier league winning squad and absolutely embarrassed himself.

I know people have different opinions but I'm shocked at how many are pro Moyes return on here, I'm hoping it's just comfort as the alternatives are Howe and Nuno ( hopefully won't be any of them )

An absolute travesty if this clown comes back. 11 years of knives to gunfights. Leaves after running down his contract after cosy fireside chats with Sir Alex, tries to poach 2 of our best players at the time saying he wouldn’t have stopped them if Man Utd had come calling and then labels Everton fans a “disgrace”. Has had one good season in football since he left including relegation and taking the Champions of England to 7th the next season. It’s a joke that due to the sheer lack of imagination and guile at board level that he keeps getting mentioned whenever we have a vacancy. Yesterday’s man.

People genuinely want us to stay in line don't they? We had 11 years with the man, 4 too long. His zenith was getting to the 09 cup final and he choked it, that should have been the time to go and get someone fresh in, instead he stayed on, bottled another semi 3 years later and ditched us for United the year after that

You're treating media speculation as certainty and pretending that everyone loved Moyes at the end of his Everton tenure.

I’m not saying they loved him - I’m just contrasting the end of his reign to all of the end of his successsors - and to equate them, which is what I think you are doing, is also foolish
