Would be delighted if he came back to be honest don’t care what anyone says about him, proper manager and our last one at that.

He did a good job at the time. Of course he is a coach with a glass ceiling. That's part of why I don't think we should go backYeh, he won loads
Funny you should say that, I was chatting to both a Sociedad and Sunderland fan earlier, “great football manager of the Ferguson and Wenger ilk” were the exact words they both used to describe MoyesId actually say he’s one of the last great football managers of the Ferguson and Wenger ilk.

You mean after he resigned? Obviously then. Not before that though we’d just had a great season
maybe your getting mixed up with Martinez or Silva or Koeman or Allardyce
The 3 nil hammering from Wigan in the FA cup quarterfinals was that season.
Outstanding bait.Id actually say he’s one of the last great football managers of the Ferguson and Wenger ilk.
To be honest I blame Moyes entirely for that defeat. Scoring that early clearly blew apart his game plan to hold out for a draw or try to nick something on the counter.Tough one. Jacobsen wasn't great, idea I think was Hibbert was more defensively sound but he got tore apart on the day.
Can criticise Moyes for an awful lot but the final isn't one of those things IMO. We just got beat by the better side on the day, it just stung as we took the early lead.
Outstanding bait.
I get that in a final anyone can win etc. but the difference in quality between the two teams was pretty big.To be honest I blame Moyes entirely for that defeat. Scoring that early clearly blew apart his game plan to hold out for a draw or try to nick something on the counter.
Instead he allowed Chelsea to come at us for 89 minutes…and that was only ever going to end one way. He did nothing to change the game and we endured an 89 minute wait for the inevitable defeat.
The only surprise of the entire day was Dan Gosling coming on after about 80 minutes…and that was because Anichebe was out injured, so Moyes’ usual substitution strategy couldn’t be used.

They brought Ballack off the bench.
He was a coach working with a financial glass ceiling. He never had proper backing. He did a good job at the time. Of course he is a coach with a glass ceiling. That's part of why I don't think we should go back
Only cause of moyes glass ceiling is moyes himself, you could give him billions and he still would do diddly squatHe was a coach working with a financial glass ceiling. He never had proper backing.
