David Moyes

We know what we'll get from Moyes. Consistent 7th/8th place finishes, and bottling all the big games. Don't get me wrong Moyes did a good job for us, but he's not the man to take us to the next level. Bringing him back for a second stint as manager, would be a depressingly retrograde step. I want a winner as our next manager, and David Moyes just isn't a winner.

Mate, have you seen our recent results.

It's more likely that he would rather stay at West Ham than come to us anyway, that's how dire we are and have been since he left.

Stability, clear the squad out and have the opportunity to build again. Moyes would bring that, and you would hope, improve on his performances against the better side. It would lay the foundations to attract a winner again into the future

By the way, we just got a winner on board, and he bailed at the first opportunity...

And more than Ancelotti.

I’m not advocating his return because I don’t think returning works out very often, but I certainly think he is a good manager.

From the great 80s team to Moyes were were mostly awful (Joe Royal cup win appart), then we recovered under Moyes with no funding. Then appart from Martinez first season, we have been pretty awful having spent more than ever.

His teams were far more enjoyable to watch than this lot. I’d take Cahill, Arteta, Graveson and Fellaini over all of our midfield any day.
Add Donovan, Fernandes, carsley, osman, pienaar to that list

I just think we need a fresh start from the Moyes era. Once was enough, we don't need the second helping.lol I respect the job Moyes did as manager, but he did have his limitations.

People are saying Moyes had his limitations like he had spent 500 mil

Man got bare p’s and had to dip into the loan market every season. He took a side battling relegation into consistent top 6 finishes and european football. The disrespect is off the charts.

Imagine what man could do with 500 mill now. Heck man has signed some ballers for West Ham last season he ain’t lost his touch.

People chatting bout Carlo like he was some genius cos we did well away to Liverpool and spurs yet forget he gave us our worst ever home record and got battered by relegated Fulham, Sheffield United, Bournemouth, Burnley, Newcastle and even bloody Rotherham.

Games like the ones against Fiorentina in the first leg, the fa cup semi final defeat to the rs (we were the better team that season), and the Wigan fiasco had nothing to do with finances. Losing games like that, had everything to do with mentality or lack off. That's not disrespect, it's just highlighting the flaws of the Moyes regime.

So far Moyes had probably the best transfer record for a current Prem, or even Major European League manager.
Except for young players and backup keepers he used everyone he signed and are playing good enough to justify their price.
