2024/25 David Moyes

@davek you know I love ya mate, but anything you say derogatory about our new-ish manager, is totally illegitimate due to your previously unwavering support for Dyche whilst he continually let our club and the fans down.

I’m sorry TFG had to break up the band, but I’m certain that if any other club is stupid enough to hire gravel breath again in the future, you can reform Davek and the Dychettes and go support whatever club your miracle worker washes up at. God help them, whoever they are.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that happening any time soon though, as much as it will break your little heart as no one but you recognises Dyches genius.

So until that glorious day when you and dyche can be together again, how about showing our new manager one tenth of the support you showed his predecessor, at least until Moyes gives us reason not to during this second spell?
I do support him through gritted teeth. Only because I'm not going to cut my nose off to spite my face.

Dyche: I do worry he could rebound to haunt us this season. He will almost certainly be turned to by a club in the PL relegation zone before this season is out. And his motivation levels will be through the roof.

We need to be well clear of whichever team he takes over from.

I'm not denying that but the word successful could get on the wrong side of a few people.
And they are a very select few, not worth worrying about.

If i was the manager of a club and took it from being in a no-mark position, circling the drain for years and then went on to out-perform the competition by picking up bargains to build a solid team that was consistent year on year,

I'd definitely consider that a success and should be allowed to consider that a success.

He successfully took us from dross to decent.

EDIT: The same people who say Moyes does not deserve to be considered a success due to not winning a trophy with us, also claim that Sean Dyche's reign with us was a success because he successfully kept us up.

Can't make it up.

I would welcome him back.
He was as professional as they come, made a difference when he came here.
Sooner put Coleman in on some sort of pathway to become manager one day.
Not because he is a player just seems to have all the attitude and respect off others to make a go of it, saying that wouldn't be surprised if he didn't want the lime light of a manager job.
To be honest, I have no idea if he is even on the cards as being part of the backroom staff, so there's no point in discussing it either way until it is. I am sure he's a total pro and the players would know that he knew when they were not putting in the effort and doing what was required of them so for that alone I'd have him. Anyway, back to my first point, no idea if it's on the cards so I'll stop right there!🙃

The only team down there that haven't swopped is Ipswich and I really can't see them binning McKenna for Dyche
