2024/25 David Moyes

He wouldn't have been on any list of mine to comeback ,the timing and situation of dyches leaving probably made the decision to bring him back and easy one for the owner's.
He's came across calm and assured and ready for the fight ahead . I wish him well I'm sure there will be more twists and turns ahead and hopefully he can keep us up and along with new owners draw a massive line in the sand as to what went on before .
If someone said to me the day he left we would end up being managed by big Sam and benitez I would have definitely thought there were stark raving mad
this is not the first time he has been in this position - he should know what to say - that said he did carry himself very well. Its the humility that I had missed under Dyche.

I just checked that out. I remember it being worse, actually! Weir, Stubbs, Unsworth, Dunc, Gravesen, Carsley, Watson, Campbell and of course (albeit 16 years old) Rooney.

Most of them get into our current side. Maybe we are screwed after all.

Zero pace at all though mate was what struck me, Campbell I think was in his twilight days and faded, Fergie pre Newcastle return and permanently crocked as well.

Graveson and Carsley walk into our side ofc, as does unworth, Weir I'd take over Tarks actually but Branthwaite above either him or Stubbs, if the Tarks over Stubbs too tbf.

Watson I never rated.

Out the current side I'd definitely take Ndiaye, Pickford, Branthwaite though graveson and Carsley out the old for certain, unworth too, Weir over Tarks in a best 11 also.

Moyes has got a pretty positive first 6 games. Whilst “there are no easy games” 5 of them are at home.
