2024/25 David Moyes

I am not too disheartened with that tonight. First game was always going to be dodgy with these players. Better shape, had more of the ball, created 11 chances with 3 on target, their goal came from our mistake, results below went in our favour. Moyes will have learnt a lot from that tonight and will know where he needs to change and strengthen to improve things.
This depresses the f out if me. Some if our fans are as thick as fk

He does. He’s clearly a player who can spot a pass and thread the ball through the eye of a needle and be creative, we’ve seen it already. I just hope he’s not ignored because of his age but I’ve a feeling Moyes is similar to Dyche in this regard and he will be. Yes he’s young, but he’s a big lad and no shrinking violet and can handle himself physically unlike a lot of players at a similar age. He needs to be trusted and given more opportunities IMO. Baines was very complimentary last Thursday and has seen enough of him to know what he’s all about. Hopefully he’ll be in Moyes’ ear to give him opportunities.

I hope so too mate, I genuinely think there's not that much in front of him either which is why I would have been more than happy to start.

We need people who can actually play football, he can play football. Get him involved.

We'll have far better options once Garner and Tim are back but until that point I don't see why Armstrong shouldn't be under serious consideration

One more loss against Spurs and those owners need to be reaching for Plan B.
