I think for some players this was their first and last audition. He just needed to rate them under match conditions.

I hope you are right. Every single one of them, bar the goalkeeper, are replaceable.

Could really do with McNeil back. I’d be tempted to start Armstrong on Sunday in place of Doucoure. Crying out for someone with a bit of composure and finesse in the final third. Doucoure can’t do that. Armstrong is worth a go.

it’s been one game mate we will improve and some of them players tonight won’t get near the first 11 when some are fit

I wouldn’t have chosen Moyes but anyone blaming him for tonight is wide of the mark. We need attacking players in desperately and I think Moyes can clearly see that, I’ll be more worried if he starts saying we’ll have to work with what we have.

If we fluked a win it might have been the worse thing to happen in the long run. Like if by random chance Dom ballooned them chances into the net by mistake for once. Could have softened the alarm that needed to be rang.

It was an improvement. There was more intent to create from open play rather than the aimless long balls which never amount to anything.

Unfortunately the huge lack of quality throughout midfield and in attacking areas was on display again.

This approach will yield better results, but Moyes needs McNeil, Garner and Iroegbunum fit ASAP and we need to get him 2 or 3 more bodies (including a striker and a wide player)

It's not that we played alright it's just how poor we now consider alright to be.

Did find it funny when he subbed Harrison for Lindstrom in the second half exactly how Dyche has been doing all season. lindstrom will probably start the next game and get subbed on 65 mins for Harrison as well.
