2024/25 David Moyes

I really hope Everton stay up, as should those who demand Dyche out on here if their new manager takes over above the relegation zone but takes Everton down.

History might not be kind to those posters and some less polite observers on here might forever label them as the Evertonians who got Everton relegated.

So I really hope Everton stay up guys.

forever label.

Those who fear shame have been declaring my demise for ten years mate. Yet once again they set their own trap and step into it.

And this time the stakes are magnificent.

.
Thats all well and good m8. But it doesn't make sense. Like how could you keep track of them. Bit daft to be honest.

Like my wildest imagination would be like a thread with a list of names. But how could you research it. Sounds logistically impossible. Can't see it.

And with the massive list in the OP people can chime in in the comments anyone forgotten. But its crazy talk. Take some kinda genius to put that together.

Daft m8. Just can't see your logic.

Easy answer my friend: the vaults.

The glorious vaults sees all. There’ll be some fine members of this community happy to index all that sold out Everton should they be relegated.

But not me. I’ll just be happy to our beloved Everton stay up, and share good cheer with all.

When dyche was sacked i was excited to see what team baines picked, then when moyes was appointed was excited to see first team. Both teams was basically dyche teams

Err Baines played a back 3, brought in O’Brien & Patterson from the wilderness and started a 17-year old attacking mid? What more changes were you expecting?

Spoken like a man who has never had his face stung with a slap from the cold, cruel penis of The Vault.

Moyes is a bit dour at the best of times, but to see him so beaten after less than a week is a bit concerning like.
I think it’s performative. He wants us to know how hard the job is, and even more importantly he wants the Friedkins to know it’s critical money is spent on players right now.

It really felt to me like he was piling the pressure on them - and I’d much rather that than Dyche’s unemotional, bland statements to the press.

You sound a little bit too enthusiastic about these vaults @chicoazul.

Yesterday @davek said he wanted Everton to remain in the PL.

You too, right, or is that last sentence just you covering your bases?

The disappointment for me of the Villa game was that DM simply repeated the Dyche line-up,
a line-up that everybody who has a passing interest in football knows is crap and has failed so often this season.
The game itself was like nearly every other EFC game this season.

Even if DM does not watch match highlights on Sky surely Baines and/or Seamus might have mentioned that Doucoure at 10,
Young at full-back, DCL at 9, Harrison on the right-wing is a sure fire losing formula. Why not give Patterson a run of games and see
if he warrants a permanent spot? Why not play Harrison on the left wing, his natural position? Why not give Njaiye a chance at 10 or even Jesper which
is his natural position?
