2024/25 David Moyes

I am hating the bounce? Lol! My God, you are so defensive of anybody who doesn't think Moyes is the man for the future. Any Evertonian who wants more than knives to gunfights when the club is properly back on its feet must be othered now, it seems.

Moyes has made a very good start indeed. Right now is about survival and the man is doing all that could be asked of him. Long may he continue to make people like me look churlish. But the thing is: I never doubted he could do a job and keep us up. What I doubt is whether we can achieve anything truly tangible when we have the financial backing: like win a cup or win at the likes of United, Arsenal, and Liverpool now and again. I'm not arguing about whether Moyes is the right man for the job right now. I'm arguing about the future and worried that the short-termism of Evertonians, falling over themselves at not being relegated, leads to a long-term journey of inevitable knife fights, expectations management, and "good times."
Point taken and apologies.

I just want us to avoid relegation and then we take the next step, whether it be Moyes or another manager.

For now, onwards and upwards.

To be fair to Clinton Morrison, todays sky pundit, he said something along the lines of, "people will say Brighton lost this because they didn't play well, but that's not the case. Its because Everton have been well organised, and played well'. A refreshing change of tac from the media.
They are both true.
Everton never looked they knew how to score until the pen and Brighton were poor too.
Then Everton defended well and Brighton attack ok.
For a neutral that game was 1/10.
For a toffee that game was huge.

He's doing really well. Don't get me wrong: I am fond of Moyes. We could do a lot, lot worse right now. My reservations will take some shifting (probably only if we actually won a league cup or at Anfield under him), but those reservations don't really apply to the here and now. Maybe the cup win at West Ham changes the future possibilities under Moyes? I want to see him backed in the window now. He's got the Friedkins out of a world of trouble in a few weeks. He deserves support completing the job...and restoring our respectability.

Onwards now to the summer and hopefully TFG ditch the Judas scum.

I support EVERY single Everton manager. Can you say the same?

But if you feel happy deflecting from your disloyalty by making my loyalty look like a wind up, be my guest...

For those on the forum not familiar with you’re work, can you please explain in plain English ( not you’re usual gibberish ) how you can both support the manager and yet at the same time, he can also be “ scum “ ?

🤷‍♂️

I hope he continues to get us point this season and then leaves in the summer.

He is a Judas who took the piss out of us all.

Other people might want to forget it (conveniently), but I never will.

Moyes is scum and always will be.

Some of us have principles and remember those times, others dont and just fly a flag of convenience...but he's got red hair and we done care...blah blah blah.
What a load of rubbish
