Best post that I have read in ages. Agree totally mate.I’m so pleased he’s here and I can start to enjoy Everton again. Dyche and his “football” were just torture, although for his first 18 months we should be grateful.
It’s only a start and I’m careful not to get too carried away by the new manager bounce but even just seeing him in the dugout makes me a lot calmer and positive.
More I think about this the more I feel grateful he recognised his shortcomings and bailed out.Can people stop saying he got sacked.
He quit, cos hes a coward.

Every chance he’d still be here now if not.
Wonder if the pressure / fear of relegating Everton was too much for him.
Towards the end of last season, both of them played very well together.
It's been longer than that for me. Martinez first season? Silva when we had that good end of season run maybe?I was thinking it feels like a long time since I've been content with the manager, and then I realised that's because it's actually been three-and-a-half years.
It's not being sour mate, it's absolutely understandable. It means you have pride, that's all. It’s 3 games. I hope as much as anyone is not just new manager bounce, that we play better footy. Today seemed very much same old, gotta admit loved him for most of first stint, but he got a lot to prove till I welcome him back whole heartily personally.
Will never fully forgive him , sour maybe, but that’s how it is.
Building a team on 50p for years was probably exhausting.I reckon it was the players. It certainly sounded like they’d completely downed tools for him. No idea how long that had been for but the atmosphere at training etc must have been brutal and I expect he just had enough of it.
Pride is a deadly sin. It's not being sour mate, it's absolutely understandable. It means you have pride, that's all.
Sickening to see the attacks this feller made on this club being swept under the carpet.
Some people need to go back and read those comments to see how spiteful and vicious they were.
Moyes did it for 11 yearsX

Best case we would have drawn three, so we have twice the points through not being cowards.Quitting is much more damning than getting sacked. Then again I don’t particularly care as we would have had zero points from our last three league matches with Dyche in charge, so win-win
I was reffering to Moyes, never noticed it was Dyche they were talking about in this thread.Moyes did it for 11 years
