2024/25 David Moyes

The team was better first half, but was poor second. The sub was waiting to come on when the goal went in though, so it was bad luck to a degree.

The reason we equalized was a mixture of our subs and them taking off Paqueta.
He’d been stood there for literally 10 minutes, the ball had gone out of play loads of times we just didn’t make the change for some bizarre reason.

The warning signs are there.

Since the United game it has been draws and the football has become a lot more negative.

Hopefully a sign of our depleted winger situation and not of a new manager bounce coming to an end.

Ndiaye is a massive loss, HUGE, he's probably the only footballer we have as an attacking outlet.

His winger options are Lindy and Jack bloody Harrison, our best midfielder is almost 40 and we have Beto up top.

As I said last week, he's a victim of his own success, 9 games unbeaten, with the players he has available is a miracle.

Aye but given the fact he did have many years where we didn’t have a pot to you know what in
True, but let's not lower our standards to suit the agenda of people like Bill Kenwright. Smaller and poorer clubs than us have won trophies over that time: Birmingham, Swansea, Middlesbrough, etc. An Everton manager is only a true success if he wins trophies.

Don’t disagree with you at all there.

Today is just a reminder as to how pathetic we have been as a football club for 30 years.

He already has the gig mate.

Just think back to where we were 10 games ago. If you were told he would come in and double our points in that 10 games, being unbeaten in 9 and all but mathematically safe, with the same squad (with additional injuries to Ndiaye and Mangala) would you have snatched his hands off and been happy to have him as manager for next season?

Same players as previous manager, arguably worse squad available to him. People have very very short memories.
Cant agree with this. Im going to the extreem here but what if we lost every game left. Should he be nailed on.

Careful now. You’ll be shouting NSNO at your past self in about 12 months time.
