I'd be all over criticising Dyche.

So Moyes is not getting away with it. Not good enough. He bottled it as he normally does against the RS.

Only times Liverpool have dropped points at home this season are against Forest (who have a much better squad than us), Fulham (when Liverpool had 10 men for 75+ minutes) and United. We just don’t have the squad at the moment, we’d need some luck or for them to have a real bad game to go there and win.

All jokes aside though Doucoure and Harrison messed up break after break for Dyche’s Everton and they’re doing the same here. We won’t see the significant long term improvements we all want until we punt utter muck like Harrison and Docuoure out the team

I think all 3 will be gone. Doucoure might be only one who will be offered a new contract. Dcl will push for a move . Easy to replace his quality.

I hope not because imo he needs to be moved on. It’s a real shame the academy hasn’t been able to produce more first team able players the last few years, it could of really helped matters and perhaps saved us paying substantial wages for the likes of Harrison .

Oh, I agree. But I maintain his return was for short-term gain - necessary - and will come with a cost., i.e., The "reboot" has now been delayed.

Moyes has done well - but he's never the answer in even the medium term. But he's here now and will be stolid, competent, and professional. And that'll have to do for now.

First half I thought we had a go and should have scored. That second half was empty. .

Let’s not forget it becomes pretty tiresome of this routine time and again of us being like this, it’s understandable frustration creeps in after years and years of it.

I understand mate. I'm 39 and seen us (or only remember) winning 3 Derbys at anfield. Second half they stepped it up a level and just kept the ball. But we were still in the game and for all their possession I dont think they looked all that. Let the manager have a summer yo shape the squad to how he wants and go from there. Or maybe I'm not as arsed as we can just enjoy the last few games of the season without looking over our shoulders.

When counter attacks break down you can’t blame the manager, it’s poor players not executing. They’re in the right positions, rhe managers job is done, if a player can’t find a 5 yard pass and another one not hit the target it’s just because they’re rubbish. Cost us a win against Chelsea, it’s cost us again tonight. The front players aren’t good enough.

Offside goal without the lines drawn and a post away from being 2-0 up at half time… fine margins and I’d have backed us to see out a second half two up

Can’t wait for Doucoure and Harrison to not be at the club anymore… must be devastating for Moyes to not have better options when we brought in the likes of Cahill, Fellaini, Graveson, Pienaar, Arteta, Mirallas for those positions

We’d have been backs to the walls defending for 50 minutes, Keane and young on for Beto and Alcatraz - would have been awful

Im glad he said about the gap between us and them before the game, because it’s the truth and to me it’s embarrassing two clubs so close to each other and one doing far better than the other all the time.

It shouldn’t be about them really it should be about us getting our act together, unfortunately bringing them into it for some is how they wake up and take more notice.
