"Despite his rivalry with Ferguson during his first spell at Chelsea, Mourinho revealed he has a close relationship with the 71-year-old, with the two sharing the details of their future well before it was publicised.

"I knew that Ferguson was retiring many months ago, and I am so happy with his trust because it was big news for the world - I can imagine that just a very small circle around him knew that, and it was a big responsibility for me to know that," Mourinho is quoted in as saying in the Sun.

"Why do I know that? Because we are friends, so if I am his friend to know that he is going to retire, he is also my friend to know that the club I want to coach in England is Chelsea. Of course I told him I want to come to Chelsea."

If you believe Mourinho, Ferguson had it all planned out. Explains Moyes not signing a new contract "until the end of the season"

Hmmm.. sounds like he played out Kenwright and Evertonians beautifully did our David.

Anyone believing the official line on his departure needs their head feeling.

So Moyes was probably aware that he was taking over months before the end of the season,So when did Kenwright know?
My Guess is that it was long before he said he did.
I must be wrong on this though as that would mean our glorious leader has told us lies again.

It doesnt matter tho, honestly, people lie, all the time, he lied when he said he would listen to the fans, its not like it even makes a difference, the man lies everytime he opens his mouth.

Seems a little odd that people want managers and players talked about in world football when they are modern day pros, if someone had a Kendall or Peter reid thread it would still relevant as a everton topic, why not Moyes if people still want to chat about him who are they harming, not arsed about him myself like

Work with a utd fan who was told this new right back they've signed was spotted by Moyes head scout at Everton and sent to utd for a trial for the last 4 weeks of the season
