No matter what your opinion on Moyes you have to be grateful for him turning us from relegation fodder into a consistent top 7 team and that is certainly my opinion on him. He was a fantastic off the field manager with an eye for a bargain and a knack for getting the best out of players that didn't spend most of their time in the final third. The only thing that was missing was a piece of silverware for us to call his tenure a definite success and that's why despite him doing a good job he won't go down in Everton history alongside the likes of Catterick and Kendall.
I certainly won't miss him though, for all the good he did he could have done so much more with much less stress along the way. Despite having such a good record off the field when it came to matchday his decisions were baffling at times and his teams regularly didn't turn up to the big games probably due to Moyes being a very cautious man.
Anyway, I thank Moyes for all he's done and I hope he does well at Man U.

Nice bit of respect for out going manager, who like it or not turned us from relegation candidates to European contenders.
