It's just a changing of the guard. Maybe we get lucky and they all turn out CL class players. But this is a needs must transfer policy.

I'm mostly interested in who we get when Lukaku goes. That decision will make or break us, IMO. He was the difference between us being 7th or midtable last season. Tbh, I have zero faith in Koeman getting that decision right.

No it was not. We got someone who had the clue as to what defending means.
 
Hi Guys! As a Dutchman and Ajax fan since the 90's I have seen every match of Klaassen over the past 3 years. Although I rather keep him at Ajax, I do think he's ready for the next step. He was struggling in 2015-2016 season, but was amazing in the last season. Not only in the Dutch league, but also in the Europa League. When Vincent Janssen moved to the Spurs, I told everyone it was way too early for him. In Davy Klaassen's case I think this is the right time. I truly believe Davy Klaassen is a great signing for Everton. He is an intelligent player with an amazing work effort. So believe me when I say every Everton fan is going to love this guy. He will give 110% every match and always scores his goals!

Stats showed that last season we did no better, in fact worse, at conceding from dead ball deliveries....the bugbear of not only the Martinez but Moyes years.

There was no better organisation, it was simply a matter of using more personnel to get behind the ball.

sorry mate we have 'experts' on here who've watched him once and say hes crap.

But thats not the case though. That statistic is just regarding his goals, doesnt take into his effect his overall performance for the team.

Gueye and Davies, without them and there goals we would have finished seventh as well.

It's a stupid stat.
 
We've still got Barry and McCarthy on the books and people are saying Klaasen isn't good enough? Jeez. If Koeman followed GOT we'd have a central midfield of Barry McCarthy and Dowell with zero backup needed at all.
