Comparing him to Naismith because of a small resemblance is as lazy as Rom after he's decided there's nothing left to play for at the end of the season.

Based on my 10 minutes of watching YouTube videos, he looks like a Naismith/Cahill type attacking midfielder who gets about 10 goals a season from behind the striker.
Short passes, good movement, in the right areas. Doesn't appear to carry the ball, dribble or play creative through balls.
Who else would you say he plays similar to?

I think it makes us extremely versatile for certain. But how can you not play Gana and Morgan as DCMs as many games as you can? It's the strength of the team for sure.
I'm not of the opinion that Klassen is worth anywhere near 30M, maybe 20M, but he works his tail off and can play a lot of different positions pretty well.

With Davy Klaassen you will get a player who will adept quite well to the EPL. He is a nice guy with a excellent mentality and scoring ability. His first touch is very good, and he has a good feeling where to postion himself. His passing is rather weak and he doesn't have great dribbling skills. He is mature for his age and was captain for the last two years so he has leader capabilities. I think Everton is his ceiling but probably he'll fit smoothly in the team. I think you won't be disappointed. But don't expect you have signed a world class player. 30 million euro is i.m.o a ridiculous price but nowadays its the market value. Most Ajax supporters will miss him but we are glad he can make a good transfer to a club with a rich tradition. And his successor (Donny van der Beek) is already there so we can manage without Davy. Its normal business for Ajax that our players leave to a big competition when they are 23 / 24. and our academy provides a new talent. That is where we earn our money with.
